Editorial policy for the two RWUEA publications -- the newsletter and this web site -- is to employ the newsletter as the primary vehicle for disseminating information throughout the Association's membership and to employ the web site for purposes suited to an on-line media such as that of providing access to a directory of members and reporting time sensitive information such as a schedule of coming events and news of the passing of former Company employees. |

Most news for which publication is requested should be directed to the editor of the newsletter. See the Contact Us page available by clicking on the link above for information on how to reach him. However, information for which posting on the web site is requested should be addressed to the web editor with a copy to the newsletter editor for possible inclusion in the newsletter. Again, see the Contact Us page for guidance as to how to do so.
Information pertaining to the schedule of coming events and the passing of members reported in the most recent newsletter is repeated in the body of this web site, although not necessarily in the same form. Go to the click sites Coming Events and Obituaries above. Information on both thes subjects that comes into the organization after the newsletter goes to press is posted as a matter of standard practice as it becomes available in advance of the next printing cycle. That information is taken down when the next issue of the newsletter becomes available, and the more recent version is posted.
News pertaining to the affairs of Western Union regional retirement organizations is reported in the Newsletter under the heading "Gatherings". Information of this type that has already been published in the newsletter is not reproduced in the body of this website as a matter of standard practice, and viewers wishing to read the most recent Gatherings section are referred to the photoimages available through the View Newsletter click site above. However, news of regional activities that develops after the newsletter's publication for which posting is requested is posted here and can be seen by clicking on From the Regions, at left. Regional news sent to the newsletter editor for inclusion in the newsletter and for which posting was not requested is not carried into the website.
News pertaining to individual members of the organization is reported in the Newsletter under the heading "National News". Similarly, recent news of this type received since the last newsletter for which posting was requested can be seen by clicking on News of Members at left. Here too news of this type sent to the newsletter editor for which posting was not requested is not carried into the website.
In general, information on other topic carried in the newsletter is not carried into this web site except through the posting of photocopies of the newsletter via the View Newsletter page, although exceptions will be made where indicated by circumstance.
